HOPE HAS A NAME...JESUS

Why did Jesus have to die?
He lived a perfect, sinless life, but died on a cross for you.
The reason He dies was because of your sin.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish,
but have eternal life. JOHN 3:16

WHEN YOU BREAK GOD'S LAWS, HE CALLS THAT SIN.

Lying is a sin.
Stealing is a sin.
Disobeying your parents is a sin.
Not only have you lied to someone else, or taken something that did not belong to you, but you have broken God’s laws.
 
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. ROMANS 3:23

JESUS DIED FOR YOU

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. ROMANS 6:23
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. JOHN 14:6
For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become
the righteousness of God. 2 CORINTHIANS 5:21
 

YOU MUST RECEIVE THE GIFT, BUT HOW?

Admit you are a sinner.
Confess your sin to God and ask Him to forgive You.
Turn from your sin and to Jesus.
Believe Jesus is God’s son and for salvation.
Ask Jesus to save You.
Receive salvation from Jesus alone in faith.
Commit to living for Jesus and obeying His commands.
 
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 JOHN 1:9

The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel. MARK 1:15

If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. ROMANS 10:9-10

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who belive in His name. JOHN 1:12

FOLLOWING JESUS IS NOT JUST A DECISION,
IT IS A WAY OF LIFE.
GOD KNOWS YOUR HEART,
YOU CANNOT FOOL HIM.

If you genuinely want to follow Jesus and receive the gift of Life, pray something like this:

God, I admit I have sinned against You.
Please forgive me.
I will leave my sin behind and commit my life to following Jesus.
I believe Jesus is Your Son and trust Him alone to save me.
Jesus, please save me from my sin.
I trust You alone, Jesus, to save me.
In your name, Jesus, I pray, Amen.
